Various longbows (Morrowind, Daedric is second from the top) Despite the large size, it is very Dunmeri the points, the ornamention, all have the insectoid feel of the Dark Elven craft. Finally, the shield has a rather unique design unlike the blades and axes, this wouldn't impact the effectiveness of the rather large shield too much (though that can be argued). Again, the influence of the Chimer cannot be denied. The bow is long, and rather evocative of the Daedric longbow of TESIII. They both have a 'spear-like' aspect to them despite not really being usable as spears, it's still nifty! The Dunmer staff is of course more angular, and the 'rear' end isn't pointed.

The Dark Elven staff is, on close observation, actually very similar to the Altmer's. Also, while not drawing directly from any prior game, the maces have a distinct Daedric 'feel' to them again, the history of the Chimer and Dunmer is a likely explanation. In that regard, I imagine the two-handed maul would be a tad cumbersome, but would decimate anyone in plate armor. And, in stark contrast to the 'delicate Elf' archetype, these weapons would be pretty damn heavy on account of the large flanges, and therefore you'd need to be pretty tough to swing these around.

In an interesting twist from most Dark Elven weapons, the blunt mace weapons are actually quite historically-accurate. Various war axes (Morrowind, Daedric is the second from the top-left) Also worthy of note is that the one-handed axe (which shares many design elements with the battle axe) is similar to the Daedric War Axe from Morrowind, even in the wicked-looking bends of the blade. Interestingly, the ornamention of the weapons is almost Daedric in design this is explainable due to the race's days as Chimer. Again, not very useful, but it looks cool. This is evident on the bladed part of the weapons, which curve more obviously than the swords. The axes are another example of the unusual Dark Elven 'curviness'. Also interesting to note is that the size of the weapon correlates to increased 'curviness' while the dagger is largely straight, the greatsword is notably bendy. From a real-world practical standpoint, unfortuntaely, it's none too useful, but it does look really nice. In other words, these swords have a unique shape, where the blade, while largely straight, bends both inwards and outwards at various points through the length of the weapon something unseen in prior ES games, or indeed in other ESO styles. While still angular and very insectoid, and with some design elements very obvious (particularly in Medium Armor, which is a dead-ringer for TESIII Indoril armor), one needs only look at the various swords to see just how different Vvardenfell's craftmanship is from the rest of Tamriel, even from their fellow Dunmer in Stonefalls and Deshaan.Д«laded Weapons (Dagger, Sword, Greatsword)Д®SO's Dark Elf blades are immediately striking thanks to their, for lack of a better term, 'curviness'. However, while the Morrowind expansion for ESO is very much like the Third Era Vvardenfell in terms of weapons and armor, the mainland has seen some significant change over the years. The Dunmer are one of the most iconic of ES races, thanks in large part to TESIII: Morrowind, which is still a classic.
